Feeding on skin is an easy method for rearing bed bugs, albeit a bit itchy. We maintain only a few colonies using this approach.
The majority of our colonies are nourished through blood bags that are carefully heated to replicate the temperature of the human body's surface. However, the protocol is not as straightforward as it may seem. It also requires effort to acclimate the bed bugs to this feeding method.
Our colonies are housed in vials equipped with mesh, allowing the bed bugs to breathe and feed. We take great care in securely affixing the mesh and ensuring that the bed bugs cannot escape. Even greater attention is devoted to ensuring the security of all dispatched orders.
